Arden

Zurian "Zur" Anscom is a recognized son of Julian, though this has afforded him no special favor. Zur is known in Arden as a quiet man, but dutiful, competent, and insightful. His sometime-surprising perceptions have placed him in a position of counsel at times. They have also peppered his overall good relationship with his father. Notably, when Julian became King of Amber, Zur was in opposition, claiming Arden needed his father more than did Oberon's revolving throne. In protest, Zurian left for a souljourn into shadow. He only recently returned to Arden.
